Our Classes

All classes are Private and can be either 1-on-1, family or your small groups of friends/family.   

  • All classes are priced per person.  Sessions are 1-on-1 instruction, unless otherwise agreed upon. Class customization available upon request.

  • Participants must be 17+ and legally allowed to own and handle firearms.  Valid government issued identification required at time of class. 

  • Under 18 must show US birth certificate and another form of  US ID (i.e. library card), or valid US passport.

  • Courses only open to U.S. Citizens or Non-U.S. citizens who are: (1) lawful permanent residents (e.g., green card holders), (2) refugees, or (3) individuals who have been granted asylum.

  • All classes require a $50 deposit to hold your spot, balance due at time of appointment.

AR-15 Workshop 

Classroom and/or Live Fire

This is ahour class and will cover the following.

  • Assembly and Disassembly

  • Versatility

  • Parts identification

  • Function 

  • Maintenance 

  • Part selection/sourcing and quality

  • NY legal components/compliance

  • Build vs. Buy and price difference

  • Range Live Fire add $99

  • OR Build workshop.  You build  with your parts.

This class is intended for those who wish to learn more about how an AR-15 operates, what the parts are and what they do, how it is assembled, maintained and disassembled.  It requires students to attend classroom session but range session is optional.   Students are welcome to bring their own rifles, parts/kits but one can be provided, if needed.  Ammo not included for range visit.

Reloading Basics

Calssroom only

This is a 3 Hour class and will cover the following.

  •  Reloading Safety

  • Ammunition components/function

  • Benefits of reloading 

  • Tools of the trade

  • Different types/brands of presses

  • Precision vs. bulk reloading

  • Cases type and case materials/prep

  • Primer, Bullet & powder selection

  • Reloading start to finish

This class is intended for those who are shooters and interested in learning how to make their own ammunition for precision shooting or to save money

Long Range 101

Classroom Only

This is a 3 hour class and we will cover the following.

  • Scopes Selection

  • Reticles MOA vs. MRAD

  • Projectile Properties

  • Ranging Targets

  • Reading Wind

  • Temperature

  • Humidity

  • Barometric Pressure

  • Shooting on Angles

  • DOPE Charts

  • Add $49 for Range Sight-in

This course Is intended for the shooter that needs instruction to become more knowledgable on the basics of long range shooting and all the factors that play into ballistics and accuracy at longer ranges.  Students are encouraged to bring their own rifle, optic, and ammunition to class so we can endure they are adequate for long distance shooting.  A range class is available at an additional fee to zero your rifle and practice shooting out to 200 or 300 yards.

Rifle/Pistol Basics

Classroom only.  No live-fire

This is 90 minutes class and will cover the following.

  • Safety fundamentals

  • Range fundamentals and safety

  • Types of firearms

  • Parts of a rifle

  • How rifles function

  • How ammunition functions

  • The Safe Act

  • NY Compliant parts

  • Optics and Sights

  • Loading/Unloading

  • Cleaning/Storage

  • Transportation

This class is intended for the beginner that requires knowledge of firearm basics, function and safety.  This will allow the new shooter familiarize themselves with firearms and safety procedures for our Range Instruction classes.

Carbine or Pistol  101

Range Instruction and Live Fire

This is a 2 hour class on a private range in West Hampton.  Handgun or rifle.  We will cover the following.

  • Shooting Drills

  • Tactical reloads

  • Malfunction drills

  • Shoot/no-shoot scenarios

  • Shooting and moving

  • You will need a minimum of 300 rounds

  • Use of chest rigs, plate carriers and gun belt encouraged but not required. 

This course Is intended for students who have shot at least 10 times in the last 12 months or for the experienced shooter that wants to practice techniques to become a better shot.  Students are required to bring their own legally owned handgun or rifle.  Ammo not included.  Firearm must be zeroed for close quarters distances (5 yards to 25 yards).

Rifle Shooting 101

Live-fire.  No Classroom.  Shotgun or Rifle

This is a 2 hour class and we will cover the following.

  • Improving Accuracy

  • Breathing Control

  • Trigger Control

  • Proper rifle/pistol shooting positions

  • Grip

  • Sight Picture

  • How to "sight-in" and zero your firearm with different types of sighting system

  • Malfunction clearing

This course Is intended for the new shooter that needs instruction to become more comfortable with shooting or for the experienced shooter that wants to practice techniques to become a better shot.  A rifle (not a handgun), Students are welcome to bring their own legally owned handgun or rifle.  Ammo not included.
