Hello fellow patrons! My name is Chris Scarpitta and i'm a born and raised a city boy from Queens, New York that relocated out to the suburbs of Long Island back in 1999.  I've always had an interest in trying new things and going on new adventures.

Over the years I've picked up several hobbies that include hiking, camping, firearms and technology which came along with the acquisition of tons of products.  I thought I could use my experiences to train others and hopefully help people decide if certain products are good for them and to save them some time and money in the process.

My focus is to provide useful training and content to like minded individuals and help them make the right decisions the first time around, instead of making the same mistakes i did.  With any luck, I can help train you, answer questions and save you money, time and unnecessary headaches.  I am by no means an expert in every facet of the outdoors, but i've obtained enough knowledge over the years to shed some light on certain topics.

I have been involved in the shooting industry for approximately 15 years and doing firearms training since 2016 .  I have grown from a recreational rifle shooter to a long range precision shooter.  On my journey I have become proficient in rifle/handgun shooting, reloading, long range shooting as well as building certain rifles and handguns.

Outdoors has always been a passion of mine since I was a child.  I've gone from hiking and camping in anything from a cabin to simple cowboy camping under the stars in extreme hot and cold weather.  I've hiked all kinds of terrain in the Northeast including section hiking of the Appalachian Trail through NY and Pennsylvania.  I have extensive experience in multi-day hiking in cold/hot weather and over long distance, knowledge of different types hiking gear and a multitude of survival and medical skills.

I produce YouTube and Social Media content to share my experiences and to review products. Understanding everyone has their own personal preferences is paramount.  What works for me may not work for you, so make the best decision for you and get out there to enjoy the outdoors!
